The property is bounded by The Embarcadero, Washington, Drumm, and Jackson Streets and was designed to include the Port’s Seawall Lot 351 in a partnership between the Public and Private sectors.
The project was designed to include 134 residential units, 20,000 sq. ft. of restaurants and retail, and 30,000 sq. ft. of outdoor public open spaces and parks extending pedestrian walkways from Jackson Street and Pacific Avenue to the Waterfront. The plans also included a new health club and aquatics center and an underground garage to serve the apartments, the adjacent Ferry Building Waterfront Area, and the Ferry Building Farmer’s Market.
PWP was successful in obtaining all of the entitlements, but the City’s approval was overturned by referendum and the project was terminated.
