Alicia Esterkamp Allbin

Alicia Esterkamp Allbin is a Principal and Partner at Pacific Waterfront Partners. Ms. Allbin manages a team of development professionals, including project managers, property managers, architects, and consultants. Working with PWP since 2002, her responsibilities include acquisitions, asset management, entitlements, marketing, leasing, public relations, and community outreach.

Most recently, Ms. Allbin managed the $60M historic renovation project at Piers 1 1/2, 3 & 5. Successful lease negotiations were achieved with prestigious tenants such as Bloomberg LP, Renaissance Technologies, and Geolo Capital. Ms. Allbin was also responsible for the retail strategy and tenanting which ultimately secured renowned restaurant tenants La Mar Cebicheria Peruana, Hard Water, The Plant Cafe, and Coqueta. In addition to receiving approvals from over 20 different agencies, the project was listed on the National Register of Historic Places and secured nearly $12M in historic tax credits.

In addition, PWP was engaged to secure and develop a location for the Pilara Foundation's world class photography. Completed in 2010, Pier 24 now houses the largest collection of photography in North America. The renovation met the Department of the Interior's Standards for Historic Rehabilitation and represents another major adaptive reuse on the waterfront.

Ms. Allbin has her M.B.A. from the University of San Francisco and has comprehensive experience in real estate development, entitlements, public-private partnerships, historic rehabilitation, leasing strategy, marketing, public relations, and communication. In addition, she serves on the Board of Directors for the San Francisco Architectural Heritage and SF Made. Ms. Allbin was named one of the Most Influential Women of the Bay Area and is a member of Lambda Alpha International, SPUR, the Housing Action Coalition, the Bay Area Council, the SF Chamber of Commerce, ULI, and BOMA.

Simon W.R. Snellgrove

Simon Snellgrove is the Founding Principal of Pacific Waterfront Partners. PWP was formed in 1999 and specializes in investment and development of urban real estate in the Western United States.

Prior to forming PWP, Mr. Snellgrove spent 10 years in the institutional real estate investment business. From 1989 to 1993, he was President of U.S. Lend Lease, Inc. and Managing Director of Lend Lease International PLC in London. At Lend Lease he was responsible for the formation and promotion of two global real estate investment funds. After Lend Lease he was Senior Vice President of The O’Connor Group with responsibility for investment in Europe and pursued development in Asia with Hirsch Bedner.

For the previous 20 years Mr. Snellgrove was involved in all aspects of urban development with The Portman Companies. His activities included the design, entitlements, construction, marketing and leasing of mixed-use urban properties in the U.S., Asia and Europe. Property types included office, retail, hotel and residential properties.

Mr. Snellgrove is a founding trustee of the Bay School of San Francisco and is on the Board of Directors of North Beach Citizens, an organization dedicated to helping the homeless. His affiliations inlcude SPUR, Lambda Alpha, ULI and PREA.
